2018 NBL Next Gen Camp | SMARTSPEED in Action
- On June 5, 2018
Last month the National Basketball League (NBL) held their first NBL Next Gen Camp in Melbourne. The event featured 80 of the top Australian and International young basketball prospects undergoing athletic and anthropomorphic testing. The athletic tests completed at the camp are aimed to mirror similar events at the NBA Combine. The Fusion Sport SMARTSPEED system was used to accurately time and track the ¾ Court Sprint and Pro Lane Drill events at the camp. There were some impressive results from the camp, here are the top five times from each event:
3/4 Court Sprint (seconds)
- Mason Bragg – 3.261
- Durrell McDonald – 3.297
- Michael Nwelue – 3.298
- Adrian Tomada – 3.327
- Lachlan Anderson – 3.331
