Fusion Sport are excited to sponsor the Australian Sports Tech Cup hackathon celebrating innovation and creativity in Sports Analytics and Sports Data.
The hackathon will have a focus on AFL data, a great opportunity for both beginners and experts to explore sports analytics, network and learn from some of the best in the AFL and data analytics business.
What will be involved in the hackathon?
Hosted at La Trobe City Campus in Melbourne the hackathon will take place over the weekend of November 24th and 25th. It is a fun and innovative competition where professionals, academics and university students will collaborate and compete in challenges.
Teams of up to five will work with a number of AFL focused data sets with mentoring from industry professionals, and prizes for innovation and creativity.
The event is FREE, however you will have to sign up to join a team and it is limited to 100 spots. You can sign up on the event website here.
