COMBINING MEDICAL & PERFORMANCE DATA

Lead Physical Therapist at the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Association Gillian Bower joined us for a live webinar exploring how the USSA use their EMR within Smartabase to integrate performance and medical data for their athletes. Topics covered include: Integrating performance and medical data; Sharing data within the system to maintain HIPAA compliance; and tips to ensure the success of your EMR implementation.

Gillian also touches on her biggest ‘wins’ in implementing the EMR, in particular the ability to respond quickly to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, rolling out an illness surveillance system in early March to monitor the health of their athletes and staff as they returned home from overseas.
