Monitoring Readiness for Fatigue Within Speed Sessions | Smart Speed and Power Training with Mike Young

Sprinting is a high intensity activity that is best performed when fresh. As such, it’s important to ensure that athletes are physically ready to perform prior to beginning the session and their fatigue state is monitored within the session. In this episode, Coach Young discusses how he determines an athlete’s readiness to sprint and monitors their neuromuscular fatigue within the session.
